About this glossary
The language of
AI automation.The language of
AI automation.
Short, honest definitions of the concepts we work with every day at ORYNTECH. Each term is explained from the perspective of a real service business, not a technical brochure.
- AI voice agent
An AI voice agent is an artificial-intelligence system that answers phone calls and holds a real conversation with the caller: it understands the request in natural language, checks availability and confirms the booking, with no human intervention.
Unlike a keypad-menu robot, it speaks naturally and handles informal phrasing, 24/7.
- AI conversational agent
An AI conversational agent automatically handles text messages — Instagram DM, WhatsApp, Messenger, web form — answers questions about services and pricing, and guides the client toward a booking, in natural language.
The difference from a simple chatbot is that it is connected to the CRM, calendar and follow-up, so it carries the conversation to a concrete outcome.
- Lead generation
Lead generation is the process of attracting and capturing requests from potential clients. In the automated version, an AI system captures the request, qualifies it instantly and turns it into a conversation or a booking, with no manual chasing.
- Lead
A lead is a potential client who has shown interest — a call, an Instagram message, a submitted form or a reply to an ad. It only becomes valuable if it gets a reply in time and is tracked through to a decision.
- Lead qualification
Qualification means finding out, through conversation, whether and how a lead can be served: which service they want, when, and how to reach them. A qualified lead arrives with full context, so you can prioritise real requests.
- Automated booking
Automated booking is a reservation the system makes directly in the calendar, following a conversation with the client: it offers open slots, confirms and logs them, with no manual step from you and no risk of double-booking.
- No-show
A no-show is a booking the client doesn't turn up for. It costs time and lost revenue. Automated reminders, sent at the right moments before the appointment, reduce the risk of a no-show.
- Automated follow-up
Automated follow-up is the series of messages the system sends on its own after a request or a booking — confirmations, reminders, win-back messages — at the right moments, without you having to remember each one.
- Lead reactivation
Reactivation is bringing cold leads back into the conversation — people who once asked but didn't finish. The system sends them relevant messages at the right time, turning old interest into new bookings.
- CRM
CRM (Customer Relationship Management) is where each client's history lives: conversations, bookings, preferences and past services. In ORYNTECH the CRM is connected to the agents and automations, not a separate address book.
- Artificial intelligence
Artificial intelligence (AI) is the technology that lets a system understand natural language and act: reply to messages and calls, qualify leads and book clients. In ORYNTECH, AI handles the routine work under clear rules.
- Omnichannel inbox
An omnichannel inbox gathers messages from every channel — phone, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger, email, form — in one place. Nothing gets lost and every conversation keeps a full history, without jumping between apps.
